As CTO and head software engineer Chris oversees development of the QIN CodeSafe cloud platform and mobile app as well as being responsible for the overall engineering team. Involved in system design and architecture, coding, testing and QA, security and operations, debugging and incident resolution, and craft beer appreciation, he is often busy but supported by a world-class team.
Chris first started writing code and selling his own software in high school and then began his professional career in 2007 after completing a Bachelor of Engineering (Software) with honours at the University of Melbourne. From an initial junior developer position he rapidly acquired technical and team leadership roles in just a few years, working on world-leading SAP change management tools. He spearheaded major projects involving full-stack web development, Java/J2EE web applications, virtualisation and cloud deployments, and security design and best practise, before turning his attention to architecting and developing the QIN CodeSafe platform from the ground up.
Outside of work Chris enjoys driving and the aforementioned craft beer, but not at the same time!
